Help children and families who are victims of disaster in the USA and around the world by providing emergency relief food, water, supplies, and shelter.

Convoy of Hope remains committed to Haiti Convoy of Hope — a faith-based relief organization headquartered in Springfield, Mo. — was among the first to provide emergency relief in Haiti after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake killed upwards of a quarter million people and left 1 million homeless. "For more than three years we have been feeding thousands of schoolchildren and their families each day in Haiti," says Hal Donaldson, president of Convoy of Hope. "Already having personnel, vehicles and a large warehouse in country allowed us to be one of the first organizations to distribute life-saving food, water purification and other supplies to survivors." Each day, Convoy of Hope feeds more than 11,000 impoverished schoolchildren and regularly distributes water purification units to families, churches, schools and orphanages. That work will continue, says Donaldson, along with additional long-term recovery work. Part of our recovery strategy for Haiti is to increase the number of children in our feeding program to 25,000 by the start of this school year, says Donaldson. We believe that's a worthwhile investment in Haiti's future.>/q> In the months since the earthquake, Convoy of Hope has distributed more than 4 million pounds of food and supplies to desperate families in Haiti.
